Can A Cyst In Brain Cause Pain In Head And Muscles?

Question: I have a mega cisterna magna prominat fossa.
So the cyst sits center back of brain wrapping around the right side.
I've experienced roller coaster of emotions and uncomfortable crying.
I hold my head on the right side.
I have no energy
Head hurts or feels heavy on the side of the cyst
Right side of my body feels completely different than my left side.
My right side always hurts tight muscles etc, leg, side and arm.

Can this cyst be causing these problems?
How do I get my doctor to listen to my symptoms?
Is there a better way to explain things?
I had a time line of y injures that got me here but none of the dr's are interested in my account of how I got here, they just want to prescribe another pill.

I'm so tired of pills. I'm downto taking just a muscle relaxer. I've stopped all opiates.

Ive had the severe emotions since ive been in chronic pain. My head hurt all the time.2011 i hit my head on the ice. Ive been with pain management since. 2013 aug the cyst was discovered while a brain mri due to severe head pain.
My health has deteriated since.

Thanks for the additional information.

I should say that there is a good possibility that the compression by the cyst could be causing this problem. However the pains can be managed with pain modulating drugs.

I have gone through the drugs that you have mentioned but there is one drug that you have not mentioned but which could be useful is Duloxetine. I have my self prescribed duloxetine to around 200 patients untill now with such non specific pains and they seem to have reduction in the pain with it. A similar drug acting similarly is amitriptyline. Duloxetine along with handling the pain will also take care of your emotional turmoils. Starting with the dose of 20 mg, it can be gradually increased to 30mg and also 60 mg gradually if required. You may discuss this option with your psychiatrist.

Ive taken lyrica and amitriptyline before. They did nothing. I took lexapro for years and weaned myself off because i felt this way on the lexapro too.
Gabapentin made me loopy but i only tried once.

I understand that you have not benefited with lyrica, amitriptyline, lexapro and gabapentin. But it seems you have not yet tried duloxetine. Resistance to other medicines does not suggest that you will not respond to duloxetine as well. You should consider to have a trial of duloxetine.
