Can Valium Intake Be Detected In A Gas Chromatography Drug Test?

Question: can a Gas chromatography drug test tell the amount of Valium i have had because i use them to fly but they don't work anymore and i got a bit carried away and had 8 10 mg tabs because i couldn't sleep and i get drug tested at work a lot because i work oil and gas, declared that i take Valium that's not a problem but my prescription says only 1 10 mg tab will it be noticed i had a urine test today?

I can understand your concern.

Chromatography can detect the molecule. It can not quantify exact amount. Depending upon laboratory it can detect minimum level of drug.

So urine test will come positive but it cannot judge how much amount you are taking exactly.
So I do not think dose is going to be noticed form your test.

Only specific semi-quantitative immunoassays will give an approximation of the amount and that is also not exact.
