Good evening,

I'm okay. What are the odds of receiving this medication without being sexually active?

Brief Answer:
Needs complete clinical correlation

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

As we discussed earlier, these medications were likely aimed at urinary tract infection. As far as sexual activity is concerned, no doubt sexually active state predisposes to urinary tract infections and can be a risk factor and a likely risk factor for women if they dont void post coitally, dont maintain good coital and toilet habits and reduce coital frequency to once a week and preferably abstain from intimacy till full recovery.

Apart from sexual activity , there are many risk factors for Urinary tract infections specifically for women are the shorter tract of urethra , use of contraceptive methods like diaphragm or any other way where manipulation of genitals is involved etc. Blockage of the urinary tract like with stones and sludge etc are some of the reasons a person can get UTI. a complete clinical correlation and history needs to be considered for further guidance.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
