Can Soframycin Be Used For Itching On The Penis?
Question: I am using beta gel-g for itching on penis now itching is fine there is cut on penis top can I use soframycin ointment for the cut

Cuts on the penile skin can be due to bacterial or fungal infection.
Are you diabetic or your wife having history of vaginal discharge?
If yes then cuts can be due to fungal infection.
In such cases I recommend my patients to apply clotrimazole cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2 weeks.
Otherwise you can apply soframycin cream on the cut.
