Brief Answer:
Headache is not very common with rogaine..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through your post with diligence. I hope you have started this treatment under guidance. Let me answer your questions individually.

1. Headache is incommon after rogaine use. Some studies suggest headache is limited to 6% rogaine users. Therefore your report that 5 out of 10 people who use rogaine will have headache is not right. You will rarely have headache after its use.
In case you fall in this rare group, you may take numol or other pain medication. You can also ask your doctor to reduce the dose / amount of rogaine if you have headache.

2. You should apply rogaine only on the areas affected by hair loss. Massage only the affected scalp. 10 - 15 minutes of massage will be beneficial. For better results, apply at night and let it stay over night.

3. There is no interaction between the shampoos used by you and rogaine. Therefore all shampoos are safe to be used along with rogaine. You may also discuss about ketoconazole shampoo if you also have dandruff issues. Minoxidil shampoos are also currently available. If needed, you may discuss about it with your doctor.

4. As I said, it is better to apply rogaine overnight and shampoo the next morning.

5. Once a day is sufficient.

Hope all your questions are answered. let me know if you have any more enquiries.
