I can understand your concern. The remeron (Mirtazapine) drug does not cause

_ Plugged ear side effect

However it can cause dizziness, vertigo, sometimes auditory hallucinations and flu like symptoms which might give you feeling of fever/blockade nose/earache.

Plugged ear needs evaluation like

- Check ear for wax

- Rule out middle ear infection

- Common cold or stuffy nose can cause plugged ear

You must consult ENT specialist for ear examination.
