Sinarest plus contains chlorpheniramine an antiallergic and phenylephrine a decongestant.
Recofast also contains phenylephrine but the antiallergic here is tripolidine.
Both tripolidine and chlorpheniramine are same group of antiallergic but chlorpheniramine has a comparitively faster clearance and thus may be less effective .
Both these medicines help in cold. But even after giving sinarest symptoms are there and as you have noticed recofast more effective, you can give recofast instead of sinarest.
Continue cepodem for ear infection as it works well on bacteria causing ear infection.
You can put nasal saline drop like nasoclear if you find that nasal secretions are getting dried.
