Yes it can be used

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all I must inform you that pepsid and Prilose are same molecules and can be used to prevent heart burn. Since it is a safe medication and do not have any serious side effects you can use both prilose and pepsid alltogether.

In addition to this I need to emphaise few more things for better control og heart burn.
1. Split the dose of Lexapro and take 10 mg two times a day after discussion with your psychiatrist
2. Stop alcohol intake if you are taking any amount
3. Reduce the amount of spices in diet
4. Reduce the stress by doing regular exercise and meditation.

I hope this all helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards
