Question: i am on Brilinta. was on plavix. ran out of brilinta. is it safe to take plavix insead?

Yes you can use the plavix instead of the brilinta provided you have no history of adverse reactions to the plavix.

They are both anti platelet medications though the brilinta is thought to be slightly better at reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes according to some of the medical studies comparing the two medications.
