Brief Answer:
Its better to avoid Phenargan

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to this forum.

Phenargan Syrup contains promethazine, although it's used for cough in children but it also has sedation properties.

In My opinion, since child is 12 months old, he should not be given more than 2.5 ml of phenargan.

If possible try to avoid giving any medicine for sedation in flight.

I hope this will help you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Polaramine has no sedative effect.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.

Polaramine Syrup contains dexchlorpheniramine.

It doesn't have any sedation effects.

I am trying to say that it's better to avoid any sedative drug on flight.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Atarax is also non sedative

Hi,

Atarax is also non sedative and it will not help.

Of the three drugs only phenargan has some sedative effect on children.
