The general instruction given is avoid anything that aggravates your problem Pepto bismol has the following ingredients carbonate, D&C Red No. 27 aluminum lake, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, povidone, silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate. None of the ingredients present in it will aggravate Crohn disease. So it can be safely be taken for right indication.
