Can Norvasc Cause Swollen Ankles?

Question: Been taking Norvasc for the last year for hypertension. Seemed to be okay on it. Now having swollen ankles of both feet and numbness of the toes. Could it be the Norvasc. I'm also taking Rythmol for a. fib. Could that be caused by it?

Swollen ankles is a side effect of Norvasc. As long as this is minute and doesn’t cause any other symptoms, I will suggest that you monitor only. Reducing salt intake and raising legs each time you sit. Also, avoid standing upright for long hours unless very necessary.
