Brief Answer:
yes you can take together but not on empty stomach

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us.

Normaxin contains Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium and Librim contains Chlordiazepoxide. Alcolive contains Metadoxil and it is liver protective. It is advisable to take all drugs with some food. There is no significant interaction between these drugs. Normaxin and librium both contains Chlordiazepoxide and it may cause sedation. You can omit day time librium dose if you feel sedation after discussing with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Thanks. But the doctor had advised me for fluid diet for today. What should i do? And is alcohol withdrawal a serious thing? I heard one can suffer from seizures and also DT's... And also, i have been prescribed ursocol one time a day. Does the combination of the medicines point out to hepatic encephalopathy? My lft showed ggtp to be very high.

Brief Answer:
let me know your reports and alcohol use history

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for follow up.

You are right that alcohol withdrawal can cause seizures and DT's but this is not always the case. These happen only when it is untreated. You are already on librium which is specific treatment or preventive measure of alcohol withdrawal. Ursocol is used in liver abnormality. Hepatic encepholopathy is severe liver failure and there are neurological symptoms and you are not having them. you have only some liver problem and that is also likely due to alcohol.

Your ggtp is high means there is some liver and pancreas abnormality.

Please upload your all reports (including ultrasound abdomen and let me know your history of alcohol (duration, frequency, type of alcohol and amount per day as well as last intake) so I can guide you further.
