Brief Answer:
NO known drug interaction between Norethisterone and Dimetapp or Neurofen Zavance
Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) There is NO known drug interaction between Norethisterone and Dimetapp or Neurofen Zavance (medication for pain relief). However, two different categories drug should be taken with at least 15 min gap for better absorption and activity.

2) Smoking should be strictly AVOIDED when you use above said drugs as it may decrease efficacy and absorption to the site of action. It can also flare up the current disease condition.

3) There is NO definite risk if you take 2 Norethisterone tab (each 5 mg) in case of pure indication or doctor's recommendation.

Hope I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.

Brief Answer:
Stop smoking while taking respiratory medicine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for providing additional information from medical websites.

1) Basic thing is that you should STOP all things (smoking and alcohol drink) during the course of RESPIRATORY medication (like Dimetapp etc). Environment should be free from dust, allergen and smoke (as much as possible) for better perspective of health and respiratory tract.

2) Norethisteone pill is usually given to delay / induce period and control heavy bleeding cycle in most cases. You HAVEN'T mentioned the indication for what you want to use the pill.

If you want to use as contraceptive pill, then missing one dose is NOT a big deal. In that case, you can take Two pills on the very next day and continue rest of the pills as before. However, missing Two doses consecutively, you need to discard the same and contact with health personal.
XXXXXXX 3 Norethisterone tab (each 5 mg) can be taken on daily basis in proper indication or doctor's recommendation and over dose should be avoided.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.
