Can Nidoflor Cause Symptoms Of Anxiety And Fear?

default
Posted on Mon, 9 Oct 2017
Question: Hello! My doctor prescribed me a cream called Nidoflor(in romania) for small micoze i have on the soft tissue next to my foot toenail. I have been applying it 3 times per day since yesterday. I myself am a bit anxious and sometimes tend to overthink some stuff. Right after i apply the cream i get this felling of insecurity, a bit of lack of air and a small general discomfort. Could it be from the cream or is it just anxiety? Does this cream have side effects that could explain this? I hope you understand my concern. Thank you!

Thank you for the answer doctor. I do have one last small question. I understand that after applying the cream i have to keep the toe without covering it for 30-45 min for the cream to get in the skin. But after that can i use socks ? Will that help healing or make it worse?

Hi. Thanks for your answer. I have this anxiety when it comes to taking medication and creams. If i am for example allergic to one of the components of a cream then an allergic reaction would be at the local area or generally spread.

Brief Answer:
An allergic reaction to a cream will occur locally

Detailed Answer:
With creams or topical medicines an allergic reaction will occur locally only.
It won't be generalised and you won't have any systemic symptoms.

Hi doctor. I am sorry to bother you again. I got this "thing" between my legs today after i had some long walks in the city, it was hot. I think it's from the shorts i had on me or something. So far i put some Calendula Cream. What else can i do? And what is it? thank you again for all your help!

Brief Answer:
Seems to be intertrigo, apply topical steroid

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As per your complaints, it seems to be intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds due to friction because of prolonged walking.

Apart from calendula ointment, you can apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily.

This will help in faster resolution of your problem.
