Can Nexplanon Cause Irregular Periods?

Question: My girl friend has been on nexplanon for almost 4 months now. And once inserted we waited one week and a day to have sex just relying on her nexplanon to keep her from getting pregnant. And even a month after that, i still had her take a pregnancy test, just beacuse we absolutely do not want any accidents. And we heard that it is the best birth control out there. But it made her not have a period anymore. And sometimes it still worries me. Is that normal to not have a period? We have sex very often and we want to be able to enjoy that with no worries. And zero accidents. I was wondering how safe we are just relying on nexplanon.

So basically my girl friend is not going to become pregnant on nexplanon? I also use with drawal if that helps anything
