Paracetamol is the safest antipyratic.Dose of paracetamol is 15 mg/kg/dose and it can be repeated 6 hotly.
Tepid sponging also helps in bringing down the temperature.
If fever is persisting even after giving paracetamol and tepid sponging,you can give meftal p.
Dose of mefenemic acid is 6-8 mg/kg/dose and it can be repeated 8 hrly.
