Can MTP Kit Be Taken To Terminate Pregnancy?
Question: Dear Doctor,
Good Day & Greetings !
My wife is 37 years / weight 65 Kgs with normal health. She is not Allergic to any medicines.
Her last period was on 28th of March and after testing for Pregnancy we understood that she is
Pregnant.
As of today - 3rd April the periods have not come.
We have two boys Aged 12 and another 6 and we would like aborting it.
Would much appreciate if you can advise on the Pills which can administer at home.
Sorry Last Period was on 28th February . Would appreciate a Pill like of MTP KIT of Cipla Limited along with the usage Instructions. Thanks XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The kit contains mifepristone and misoprostol tablets.
The mifepristone tablet is taken orally followed by 4 tablets of misoprostol tablets after48 hours either orally or vaginally.
However, these tablets should not be self administered and should always be taken under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
