Can Losartan And Diltiazem Be Taken Together To Control Palpitations?
Question: am taking Losrtan 100 mg and diltazem HCL ER 180 mg. are they safe to be taken together?

losartan is more effective in controlling blood pressure and has minimum action on heart beats while diltiazem controls palpitation ( heart rate ) better and has other ancillary action which are different from losartan. It also controls blood pressure to some extent.
But yes they can be taken togather , just keep a check on the blood pressure it should not fall less than 115/ 75 preferably and the pulse stays above 60 when awake .
