Question: I have depression and was doing ECT but it did not help.Another patient said he takes low dose of Ketamine and it helped would you suggest and prescribe

Ketamine is not prescribed orally for depression. Some centers are trialling intravenous administrations of ketamine, but this is very expensive and not widely available, and there is not a lot of evidence to suggest it works in a sustained way. If you are interested in medication, I would reach out to a local psychiatrist to try an MAOi antidepressant such as selegiline.
