Question: My mother has had two strokes and is paralyzed on right side and is on digozin for her heart. Can I give her ibuprophen for joint pain?

Only long term use of ibuprofen ( more than 7 days) increases blood levels and possible toxicity of digoxin, so, if you will use small doses for a couple of days, you can give ibuprofen to your mother, if no high blood pressure, allergy to ibuprofen or gastroduodenal ulcer.
