Posted on Wed, 2 Sep 2015
Question: In November of 2014, I had bypass heart surgery. While I have recovered quite well, I am having difficulty ejaculating after engaging in sex with my girlfriend. I use Viagra as an Aid for an Erection, but I am not ejaculating on a regular basis.

Brief Answer:
Needs correlation and management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. After bypass surgeries and cardiac diseases on their own are mainstay factors of erectile dysfunctions and ejaculation disorders in first place.

At age of 78 with comorbidities i would say performance maintenace is a challenge and a fragile balance where going for ED management with meds have its own perks and may lead to exacerbation of cardiac troubles and vice versa.

Regarding the ejaculation, Viagra does not give pleasures or excitation. That just aids in erection. Excitation and stimulation is at ones own discretion. Many issues compromise libido including meds and psychological troubles like anxiety depression or decreased sleep and eating or other routine work outs.

Nutshell modify diet and lifestyle, strict control of your underlying medical issues and no drinking smoking etc. Use some sensitizers creams available over the counter they will help the ejaculation. Also superficial coitus with more engagement of glns / head of the penis will make sure you ejaculate.

If the problem persists talk to a sex therapist and let them decide what is best for you.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Regards
Khan
