Can I Have Alcohol While On Rifagut 550?
Hi and welcome to XXXXXXX Thank you for your query.
It is not advisable to take alcohol while taking Rifagut or simlar drugs. It wont cause any serius consequences,but it can lower drug efficiency. Also,alcohol usually aggravates IBS and worsens its symptoms. So I suggest not to take alcohol while you are under Rifagut therapy. If you decide to take it, then try not to drink more than 1 beer or 0.2dcl of wine per day, and it should not be consumed 2 hours before of after tab intake.
