Can HPV Be Contracted Through Oral Sex And Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

Question: Hello,

I hope this conversation would be confidential. I live in XXXXXXX and have a doubt.I am married since last 4 years. Before 2.5 years, I went to Thailand and a most unfortunate incident happened there. I went to a massage parlor and there I received an oral on my bare penis from a girl. I fingered her as well. She touched my penis with her hands. I want to ask -

1. Can I pass HPV to my wife when I put my fingers in her private parts?
2. Can that masseuse pass it to my penis thru her hands and I would pass it to my wife during intercourse?
3. Can oral sex pass HPV to me and me to my wife?
4. I wash my daughter's bump after her potty. Can I pass any sort of STI to her?
5. It was advised by a doctor that I can undergo serum antibody test for HPV. But I read online that there are no tests to detect HPV infection. So is it true?

I am really anxious please help.

When I say HPV, I am concerned about the cancerous HPV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome back to Health care magic.
I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.

Finger transmission of HPV is reported .Just by single contact it is unlikely to be transmitted. So you are unlikely to be Infected. Hence transmitting to wife or child is very unlikely.

Usually HPV DNA test is not done in males , unless it is high risk case.
Antibodies test is available in high research centers. They are not reliable too as in many antibodies may not be formed.
Usually as the lady was asymptomatic, unlikely she would have hpv. Moreover usually HPV are benign.Only few strains are cancerous. It is unlikely to be cancerous HPV.

You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you
