Question: Hi, I have received unprotected "BJ" from a prostitue about 5 months ago. This week I have been diagnosticated with Bell's Facial Palsys. Checking online I have came across some information that it may be caused by HIV. I haven't had any symptoms until now. Do you think I need to betested?

Brief Answer:
No need for testing.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM.

The risk of contracting HIV through BJ is very less so as such no testing is required but to relieve your anxiety you can go for 4th generation Duo test. HIV can cause bell's palsy but in your case I don't think it might be the cause.

Consult the physician, go for some investigations to isolate the cause and take treatment as per the expert advice. For any further query feel free to ask me and I am here to help you out straight way.

Thank You
