Brief Answer:
Suggest western blot test

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Mittal. I have read your query. I think I would be able to help you. The possibility of getting the infection is definitely possible in your case. We should definitely rule out the possibility of HIV.

I would like to know the exact symptoms that you are having that lead you to suspect it.

Also, I would like to tell you that exposure of any mucosa to the virus can possibly cause hiv. However if there are no minor injuries in the body, the spread of the infection is not that quick

I would suggest testing for HIV with that history irrespective of the remaining symptoms. You can try getting the Western Blot test for HIV. If there is any indication there, we can do further tests.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.

Brief Answer:
testing will be a good idea

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am not suggesting that you have hiv. But the possibility is strong considering the history you have given. It would be good to test for it and make sure that it's negative. That may give you a mental peace as well. And being a virgin has nothing to do with HIV. its about exposure of the mucosa and skin lesions to the virus

As for the symptoms, I think they can also be caused by the withdrawal of the contraceptive pills. The latter alter the hormonal balance of the body. When you stop them, the hormonal balance changes again. This can cause symptoms as well.

I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
