Can HIV Be Contracted Through Oral Sex?
Question: Hii doctor,
I have sex 18 days back with a prostitute but used condom but i have given oral sex now iam getting drymouth and iam getting another doubt whether my condom got bursted or not is there is a chance of hiv.i have asked the prostitute also she said iam fine dont worry but iam gettimg depressed doctor.and one more thing it is my first time to do sex doctor and also there are no wounds and bleeding on my penos and in my my mouth.

You have doubt of breaking the condom , additionally you also had oral sex...that creates possibility of infection.. provided the girl is HIV patient.

actually i asked her she said there is no breakage of condom by orally means i do not have infections in my mouth at the time of encount she donot have any cuts near vagina

It's a good news that condom was intact while having oral sex. Chance of HIV transmission lies only when body fluids of infected person enter your body... so obviously your mouth symptoms do not seem to be due to HIV.
Still I feel the fact that there was probably breakage of condom is nagging your mind.. creating psychological stress & phobia of getting infection.
Infected person need not have any injury or breakage of skin while passing infection.. it's the skin breakage of the recipient, that gives assess to viruses in the receiver's body.
Even if you have no or least chances of infection & the girl is not available to exclude the HIV infection- to have screening test -ve would clear your doubt en-root. .. And doubtless mind is a must for leading a happy & healthy life.So it's advisable to go for HIV screening test after 4 weeks of exposure & stay relaxed.
