Brief Answer:
No chance of HIV in your kind of exposure. Relax

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Welcome back and thanks for posting your further queries.

I had already guided you that your symptoms or any of related things have gor no correlation with HIV.

The part of whitish thing on the throat and vanishing after taking antibiotics is very much usual response. Even if there was any blood in the phlegm then also it is never related to HIV in your kind of exposure.

In your case It is only deep kissing which has got no correlation with HIV. In my clinical experience as well as academically it is not possible to contract hiv by your kind of exposure.

None of your symptoms are related to HIV so allay all your fears and relax.

With good health wishes,

Brief Answer:
Both healthy and diseased person have same tendency

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX,
I got your point of concern that if you have above symptoms then could one have more chances of acquiring HIV or not.

So the answer is no. It is due to the fact that HIV can spread in both healthy or previously diseased person on also equal side. If a person is healthy then also has equal tendency and if dissed then also the same tendency is to acquire HIV infection by various proved means.

So if you have had respiratory symptoms then it is not likely that you have more chances. So allay all your fears for the same.

I hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Dry mouth is a better situation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back and thanks for your further follow up.

Even if there was dry mouth then also it doesn't affect the chances of infection. A dry mouth is better situation as compared to wet mouth. It is because wet mouth could contain certain infection. That is why dry kiss is also considered to be safest of all.

So relax and don't worry.

Even in deep kissing a dry mouth is better so basically kissing is safe so no need to get tested again.
I was worried because I was sick and I don't know the hiv status of the person that I kissed
So in future when I kiss someone I would not be worried if hiv ever again so I can date normally without actual sex involving I really did not do a blowjob ever since then but I was in a relation ship with someone who told he was sexually active before we kissed so that what made me so scared. And before him I was dating another guy with deep kissing involved nothing more and that made me anxious even more but at that time I wasn't sick so again kissing is not mode of hiv

Kissing is not a mode of HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Kissing is not a mode of HIV infection. It has never been mentioned academically as a mode of transfer for HIV virus form non infected to the infected person. Even the dry kiss is considered to be safest in means of getting any other sexually transmitted infection. you can very well maintain a good and healthy relationship with the guy whom you are dating. Dry kiss would not cause any of the issues so relax for the same.

And that goes to with deep kissing. But I did not understand the sores they mean and the bleeding my question is if it's little blood mixed with slaiva with a sore would be good chance or the blood have to be pure to get infected and the slaiva of the infected person would transmit hiv to me.
Should I get Tested
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Kanodia (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Saliva contains enzymes which inactivates Hiv virus.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Welcome back and thanks for your further follow up.

In case even if the saliva is mixed with blood and someone have sores then also practically there are negligible changes of HIV.

Theoretically it requires a large amount of saliva mixed with blood to infect the other person. Saint itself contains certain enzymes which makes Hiv virus inactive.

There are only very few cases reported where there was dental procedures done with active bleeding in both the parteneres at the time of deep wet kissing. So in your case in my opinion there is no need of any testing as it was simple kind of kissing.

So allay all your fears and just relax about HIV.

I hope this helps.

Allay all your fears and just relax about HIV.

Detailed Answer:

Hello XXXX,

Welcome back and thanks for your further follow up.

In case even if there was deep kissing then also it doesn't make any difference in my interpretation. Even in deep kissing there is mixing of saliva and saliva itself contains certain enzymes which make HIV viruses inactive.

In your case there was no mixing of small or even large amount of blood as well as you don’t have any sores which are largely oozing or you haven’t had gone for any dental procedures where there had been any oozing of active blood.

So there is no any possibility of HIV infection even with deep kissing.
I already guided you that theoretically it requires a large amount of saliva mixed with blood to infect the other person. Saint

So allay all your fears and just relax about HIV.

I hope this helps.

Dr Sanjay Kanodia
