Can Folvite MB Tablets Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Question: Hello I am 16 weeks pregnant and for 16 weeks I was on folvite 5mg as advised by mydoc but now my doc has changed it to folviteMB.I donot understand why he has changed it.. are both are same?? Any side effect associated with folvite MB. And how long should I continue taking the abovc tablet during pregnancy.??

Folvite plain contains folic acid, and Folvite MB in addition contains Vitamin B complex group also.
It is better to take Folvite MB.
You can take it throughout your pregnancy.
There are no side effects as such.

Thanks a lot for the quick response..I am prescribed susten 200mg twice daily tidilan 10mg twicee daily, o ferr once daily, calcium once daily, suprady once daily.Is o ferr and calcium supposed to take from 2nd trimester?? Is taking milk and curd twice daily not enough to meet daily calcium needs.what does o ferr contain?? How long I should take susten and tidilan.Any side effects of taking tidilan for long? Request you to answef my queries..

WHy have you been prescribed susten and Tidilan ?
susten is progesterone and tidilan is given to prevent premature uterine contractions - do you have any such risk factors in the pregnancy, or history or prior abortions or spotting /bleeding in this pregnancy ?
Milk and curd twice daily cannot provide calcium enough for pregnancy.
You need to take calcium and vitamin D supplements.
O ferr contains iron, which is supplemented again to all pregnant ladies.
I need to know why susten and tidilan are being prescribed to you, I dont see any indication for that in routine pregnancies.

I had.one ectopic pregnancy before.by gods grace No complication with this pregnancy as of now.is there any rrisk with taking tidilan for long?? I wss having more orgasms in sleep during first trimester and when I asked doc about this he said its common and prescribed tidilan. HOW long should I continue taking tidilan and susten??
