Can Femilon Be Taken For PCOD?
Question: I am taking femilon and metital 250 for two weeks now. I have pcod and my doctor said it will help loose weight and control my skiing rash. but both have gotten worse. i have gained weight and am working out and still unable to loose and skin rash has gotten bad. should i discontinue this medicines? I am worried about weight gain.

Metital definitely helps in weight loss.
Femilon helps in controlling symptoms of PCOD and in helping to clear your skin.
For skin problems it is better to take Krimson - 35 , instead of Femilon.
Do not discontinue the medication midway.
Complete atleast one pack of Femilon and take Metital for another two weeks.
If you feel that it is not able to help you even after a month of taking it, you can consult your doctor and discontinue Metital and try Krimson for a pack.

Doctor I am more worried about weight gain. I have worked out religiously and have been on a good diet of high protein and low carb. But I am not losing weight instead I am the same weight from two weeks. Metital I was told will help reduce weight as well. But I am bloated and not losing weight.
Also I always lost 2-3 kgs when I worked out and did a diet in two weeks, could this have anything to do with femilon or metital 250??
My weight is 85kgs and i am 5'5.5
My period is regular when i was on dronis 20 but changed to this because i was getting a slight skin rash. But the rash has only gotten worse. I never had skin issues like this before. I am 28 years.
Bloating is because of? i am working out and eating right so am confused about the lack of weight loss and that why was checking. Should i try the same course till i finish this pack of femilon and two weeks more of metital before visiting the doctor or discontinuing?

2 weeks is a very less time period to judge weight loss.
Neither Femilon or Metital will lead to weight gain or difficulty in weight loss, in fact , scientifically speaking, they only help in weight loss.
What is your weight and height currently ?

Stopping the pack of Femilon midway will lead to abnormal spotting and bleeding.
Better to finish the current pack of Femilon and continue Metital until then.
Then you can visit your doctor and decide whether to switch back to Dronis 20.
maybe Femilon is not suiting you that well.
