Brief Answer:
Ehler Danos syndrome

Detailed Answer:
good evening

thank you for writing on health care magic

Well, yes Ehler Danos can cause normal tension glaucoma and herniated disc as the ligament laxity makes the bones more prone to injury.

I would like to know a few more details. on the stomach surgeries as we don't expect that to happen in EDS. So if you could throw some light on it, it would be helpful

The other organ you need to check is the heart for any valve prolapse.. So a echocardiography has to be done at baseline to know the valve status

Also do let me know if you are doing any exercises for it?.

My doctor in middle school noticed that my joints were hyper-flexible. I was sent to University of Michigan where they did a short physical exam and took a family history. I used to be able to pull my shoulders almost out of socket, my joints will occasionally bend the opposite direction.

I have been told i have normal tension glaucoma now.

At 5weeks old I had a duodenal duplication bowel obstruction. The opened up the 2 area and made one large opening.
At 7years I had a valvolus bowel obstruction.
At 21 years I had a bowel obstruction from adhesions.
At 32 I had a bowel obstruction, had gallbladdar removed (had abnormal neck and was terrilbly inflamed), had duodenal reconstructed. The area that was opened when I was 5weeks had protruded and formed a sack which everything got caught in (the pill endoscopy got stuck there for days)
I have IBS, diverticulitis, and a redundant colon (it apparently stretched out)

When I was in high school. I was told I had a slight mitral valve regurge. I also was tested with electrodes and told i had paramyotonia.
I have red dots rangeing from 1 to 3 mm where capilarys have burst. These are all over my body and larger where my stretch marks are. My scars also have stretched.

I get injections every so often for my si joints for pain in my back. I do stretches to try to keep myself outta pain for that.

Brief Answer:
EDS Syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, you do seem to have the most severe form of EDS...Considering the bowel involvement, Lens involvement and recurrent joint dislocations with skin problems...

A lot of people do have it, but in mild variant

1. As for your bowel, it is hard to say it is due to EDS. It looks like an old complication of the surgery where adhesion's keep forming and can cause obstruction. The delay in healing can be due to loose ligaments not able to fixate together....As of EDS, it doesnt cause bowel obstruction

2. GEt a periodic check of your valve. If the regurgitation or prolapse is increasing we may need to put you on some medicines for it...And so goes with the eye pressure as well. Normally the lens gets a bit dislocated and it causes raised pressure( Glaucoma)...

3. But yes do keep exercising..Both for your back and for your knees. Knees can be prone for OSteoarthritis. Yoga is known to help strengthen the muscles and ligaments, which should at least reduce your frequency of injection

4. Take daily Vitamin C tablets along with Vitamin D supplements. It will be helpful for skin and decreasing the bruising in the ligaments.

Well, there may not be any cure for it but at least we can prevent any further complications arising out of it by regular monitoring...

Hope the information was useful
