Brief Answer:
doxycycline

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the question.
If azithromycin has failed then a week of doxycycline would be the thing I would suggest next.
In addition it may be worth getting retested to make sure that it was really chlamydia. If there is another sort of infection going on then you may need different antibiotics.
Also a urinary tract infection could cause similar symptoms and might also need a different antibiotic.
A doctor could get a urine sample from you and test it for urinary tract infection, gonorrhea and chlamydia.
Other tests for things like syphillis and HIV would need blood testing to be done.

A week of doxycycline ? Meaning a pill every day ? How will I get doxycycline ? Just walk up to Walgreens and request it?

I've also done a blood and urine test which is how I found out I had chlamydia everything else came back negative.

Brief Answer:
need a prescription

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If you live in the US you would need a prescription for the doxycycline. The usual dose is 100mg twice a day for one week. If you call the office where they prescribed the azithromycin, they may be willing to call in the doxycycline for you. If not you would need to see a doctor again to get a prescription.
