Can Diane-35 Be Taken In Place Of Belara?

default
Posted on Tue, 22 Nov 2016
Question: Hi, I use contraceptive pills "Belara" for 2 years already. However, my doctor suggested to change them into new ones - "Diane", which contain different hormones that could help my skin look better.
My question:
1) What can be the consequences of changing the old pills into the new ones (since new ones contain different hormones)? 2) Do I need extra protection for some time when I start to use "Diane" instead of "Belara"? 3) Can I come back to "Belara" after a month, if I see I do not like or do not see any effect from the new brand?
Thank you for the advice!

Brief Answer:
Better formulation

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes dear these are better ones than Belarus for skin care and helps in reducing hair growth and acne.
No extra protection is needed while shifting from one pill to other as both have good contraceptive benefits
You can very switch in case you don't get desired results.
But it takes 2-3 cycles of pill intake for effect to show clinically.
Allthe best
