Brief Answer:
you can take Chlorthalidone as a stop gap for a short while

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to HealthcareMagic,
I can understand your concern,

Please note that both are different drugs.

Chlorthalidone is a diuretic and leads to potassium loss.

Lisinopril leads to potassium conserving.

Yes, you can take Chlorthalidone as a stop gap for a short while, but get your serum electrolytes (sodium and potassium levels) done a week later to ensure the levels of sodium and potassium are Okay.

Simultaneously also check your Blood pressure.
Feel free to ask further.

Regards
