Can Avamigran Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Question: I take Avamigran (ergotamine/cafeine) for migraines. I have an awful migraine now but think I may be pregnant (home pregnancy test is positive, waiting for dr appt on Friday). Is this safe to take now? If not what should I take? Tylenol doe snothing for my migraines.

You can either take sumatriptan or rizatriptan tablets for headache relief. These are safe in pregnancy as well as breastfeeding. I hope my answer helps.
