Can Arachitol Injection Cure Vitamin D Deficiency?

Question: my vitamin d3 level is <8.1 ng/ml. Dr. suggested me to take Arachitol 6 lakh units injection per week. Will I have any pain while taking the injection and for how many days will this pain be.
