Restoril is Temazepam and the drug is a benzodiazepine drug. Ambien is Zolpidem and the drug is a hypnotic drug of z-drugs class. If you have prescription of these drugs then there is no contraindications in taking both these drugs together. But please talk to your doctor if possible before taking the drugs together. Taking both drugs together would help you in sleep.
