Question: Hi
I am 25 /m
Over the past year I have had several blood tests.
My Platelet count has always came back low 125 (reference range 150-400)'
and my platelets - SL reduced
Should I be concerned? What does this mean?
Can you also tell me what the following mean"
CK 302 u/l (reference range below 210) - I am a pretty active athlete
IGM decreased

Thanks for your query.

A healthy person with a slightly low platelet (125 in your case) is not a clinical concern and you should not be concerned.

Regarding CK, if you have no any other symptoms and because you are a pretty active athlete, the cause is most probably a small trauma to the muscle or a mild inflammation in the muscle.

Regarding IGM decreased, do you take any kind of steroids?
