Are Vomiting And Nausea With Abdominal And Back Pain Symptoms Of Cancer?
Question: Hi, is there anyone available to go over numbers with me this evening in reference to ruling out Kidney or liver Cancers in a 12 year old little boy? He has been vomiting and nauseated with abdominal and back pains since september. Antibiotics make him quit with vomiting and nausea but it returns two days later. He is on prevacid 30 mgs a day for a couple of months with no acid reflux symptoms
Parasites have also been ruled out even though another study is in the lab at current.

I understand your concerns. The cause is not clear till date despite having adequate investigations. But I don't see anything to suggest cancer. The duration is close to a year and untreated cancer would have worsened much faster.
USG abdomen and CT brain also don't show any mass or tumor.
Hence I don't think it is cancer.
