Are Vomiting After Every Meal And Nausea Normal After Increasing Lexapro Dosage?

Question: lexapro upped from 20 to 25mgs today is a week.. im constantly throwing up after each meal.. I have this happen to me when anxiety is high.. is this side effect normal for this drug.. im getting dizzy, tired, headaches, n nausea... im really afraid i have a gi issue.. but this all started when my anxiety was off the charts.. n then worse when I upped the dose.. when is adjustment period over? when will i see benefits of the upped doseage in terms of anxiety, ruminating thoughts.. ?

People routinely experience increased anxiety when increasing the dose of an antidepressant. People will often also have nausea. This effect typically goes away with a week. The benefits of the antidepressant can take between 2-4 weeks to reach maximum effect, after the most recent dose increase. So if you can "wait it out," your anxiety will improve over time.

I just talked to my doctor the constant nausea he said is not worth not functioning for 5 more mgs of lexapro.. he's bringing it back down tonight.. im also on klonopin. 5mgs 2x a day gabapentin 200 3x a day n 15mgs of remron..ive tried other antidepressants paxil, effexor, seroquil, trazadone, i don't do well with antidepressants. can u suggest a drug good for anxiety / panic disorder.. oh ive also tried zyprexa, n thorazine

I tried latuda it didn't do anything even though i håndled it well.. abilify worked well but I gained 30lbs in one month.. wellbutrin måde my anxiety worse.. I have heard about upping the remron to 30mgs

since im decreasing the lexapro tonight should the side effects go away right away.. or will it take a few days to get back to normal... like werid head feeling, dizziness, nausea, n headaches
