Question: Can you please tell me if Clearblue Fertility Monitor shows peak fertility (3 bars) does this mean I do ovulate?

I am worried because Clearblue fertility monitor shows ovulation but ovulation test sticks (boots own brand) always show negative.

Hello mam, your anxiety is justified but as i told you earlier monitor is better indicator than OPK sticks. One thing which you can do is to get a follicular study on transvaginal ultrasound on day of start of rise of LH that is when your monitor shows two lines till its peak that is till three lines. In case ultrasound shows follicular rupture and free fluid in POD on day after monitor has shown three bars then it will assure you that you are ovulating but LH levels are lower than the detection threshold of OPK kits. I hope that will relieve your anxiety for next 5 months in which you can time your intercourse with three bars on monitor. Take care.

Many thanks I am going to give it until christmas and if not conceived by then I will go and get scans. Many thanks for your help I am hopeful as fertility monitor has never shown 3 bars in the previous 3 months but this month it has
