Question: My daughter is aged 3.5 years. She has only cylindrical number of +1 in one eye and +0.75 in other eye. She does not have spherical number. My questions are:
1)Should she wear specks with such a low number and that also only cylindrical
2) Will Cylindrical number reduce as her age increases

Brief Answer:
Spectacles necessary. Contact lens even better.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

1. She should definitely wear spectacles regularly. For cylindrical power contact lens works better.
2. Usually the power comes down with age but it cannot be predicted.
