Brief Answer:
Recommend HIV DUO test on 28th day; GIT consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. If I read your query correctly, it has been just 7 days since your alleged exposure? Then no test can diagnose HIV this early sir, if you wish for an early and accurate diagnosis to help rule out HIV, then please go ahead with a HIV DUO test to be conducted on the 28th day from exposure, this is about 98.9 % accurate.

As for your symptoms, they sound to be more of a gastrointestinal problem requiring the following tests:

+Stool analysis
+Stool culture
+Complete blood count
+Colonoscopy (to be decided by the doctor you are consulting physically)

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
My apologies for not being more clear the first time

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again.

My apologies, but I did explain things to you, but to give you a more direct and clear answer:

-There is a certain time frame required by the HIV virus to return a positive result, and that also depends on the test being used to confirm/rule out HIV. So the answer the your first question is: It is possible to test negative for HIV, if at all the investigation was conducted too early

-But if at all you are exhibiting symptoms and have been tested for HIV at the right time and the test has yielded an accurate result, then Yes, the cause for the symptoms could be another condition altogether sir

I hope this helps, please forgive me if I did not provide a more clear answer the first time. Please also do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

no you see i dont think you do fully understand the question because your using too many words and telling me what i already know. The only answers to my question are too its either yes or its no , if you re read my question its a yes or no question. No other possible answer could possibly fit so if you read the question again is it possible to have symptoms from something you are currently testing negative for now, if you answered such as no its impossible to show symptoms before you can even test positive meaning your symptoms are there for from something else or yes its some how possible to develop symptoms for what you have before it can even be seen in your blood which i dont see how the second answer can be possible all i was looking for was a yes or no thank you

Brief Answer:
Answer: Yes it is possible, such a result is called a false-negative

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Okay.

1. Yes it is possible (a false-negative result)

A false-negative result is when there are other influencing factors that can cause a test result to return negative, when the condition is in fact present.

You spoke about HIV, and so I provided you with the details on that. But I would also like to say that in medicine, there is no straight forward Yes or No for most of the questions.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
