Are Small Scabs And Red Dots On The Penial Area Indicative Of Herpes Infection?

Question: my son is 18 and sexually active last week he noticed he had small scabs with red dots on his penial area , he also has a mouth sore or blister on the entire bottom lip, he is very anxious and upset as his girl friend has what looks like open sores on her vaginal area that when squeezed a clear fluid came out ( only 2 ) his breath smells bad also his tongue is white gums are red and has not desire to eat as his stomach hurts right under rib cage but only when he eats acid foods, what can this be as i know it's multiple diagosis, I work for a pain specialist and don't want to ask him we don't have medical insurance

OK, I AM UPLOADING PICTURES OF HIS MOUTH AND THE SPOTS ON THE PENIAL AREA, PLEASE NOTE THAT EALIER TODAY HE SAID HE HAD WHAT LOOKED LIKE PLAQUE ON THE BLISTERS OF HIS LIPS THAT HE TOOK OFF . PLEASE NOTE THAT HE HAS NO PAIN AND HIS GIRLFRIEND DID IN FACT HAVE A YEAST INFECTION A MONTH AGO BUT WAS TREATED WITH AN OTC DRUG, AS FAR AS THE GUMS BEING RED COULD THAT BE GINGIVITUS OR IS IT PART OF THIS?

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THEY RECEIVED THE IMAGES AS MY SON IS CRYING AND PACING BACK AND FORTH FOR SOME SORT OF RESPONCE PLEASE NOTE HE HASNT EATEN IN 2 DAYS .

Hello,

I have reviewed the attached photographs and his penile lesions are looking like herpes most likely.

His gum and oral lesions could be a yeast infection or herpes infection.

If I was your treating doctor I would recommend him to take tablet aciclovir 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days and apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the penile lesions twice daily.

For oral lesions, he can apply clotrimazole mouth painted on the affected areas twice daily.

This should help him in relieving his symptoms.

If it is Herpes will he have this for the rest of his life? And is there a way who had it first, if it's yeast inf then yes I know she had it but if it's herpes is there a way to tell who gave it to who?

If it is herpes he can have episodes in the future as well as herpes virus resides in the body permanently.

There is no way to find who had it first if it is the first episode in both of them and both are in monogamous relationship.
