Are Rashes A Symptom Of Secondary Syphilis?

default
Posted on Thu, 21 Mar 2019
Question: Hi, I have a spot/small bump on my leg which I'm worried might be syphilis. I interacted 6 weeks ago with a girl, I saw obvious rashes or anything on her. I didn't have sex with her, she just masturbated me, I kissed her feet and she spanked me. I was going to give her anal oral but and I got close to her anal areas but decided not to, so if I made contact it would have been minimal. The spot is on my thigh and I always have a few spots that have whiteheads, one of which is on my face. This is normal for me though. I do have a small rash in my hand but this has subsided petty quickly. The spot on leg has another pimple like spot next to it and both spots seem like they are fading. Is this likely to be Syphilis?

Brief Answer:

I think that these are not symptoms of syphilis.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

These are not symptoms of syphilis. You should know that the characteristic rash of secondary syphilis may appear as rough, red, or reddish brown spots both on the palms of the hands and the bottoms of the feet.

Furthermore, please send me an attached picture of these spots to define better the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

The images aren't the best quality, one is my spots on my leg, the other is a spot on the side of my bottom lip, and the other image is just the faint red blotches on my hand/wirst. Is it possible to get Syphilis from just body to body to contact though? Like a my situation with a hand of a potentially affected person touching my body or vice versa? If I didn't see any visible sores?

Brief Answer:

These are not syphilis elements.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

You can get syphilis from the body to body contact if the person has cutaneous elements of secondary syphilis.

I have seen your pictures and based on your data (your partner had not cutaneous elements) I think that these are not syphilis elements.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
