Brief Answer:
Will help you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Probiotics containing live bacteria (lactic acid bacillus) are helpful to maintain our normal intestinal bacterial flora which helps in good digestion and over all good health.

Mostly, normal intestinal bacteria get disturbed or killed by using antibiotics for a longer time.

They will certainly help you along with Nexium (esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor) twice daily for your symptomatic relief from gastric symptoms and for good digestion until you see your doctor in upcoming January month.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
