Are Low Grade Fever, Headache And Weakness Symptoms Of Typhoid Fever?

Question: On september 5 th 2016 i got cold like symptoms, later it changed into fever around 11 th september with fever and cold, then i went to doctor on 13th. he said that is cold symptom. He gave medicine for fever and antibiotics.. i used them for 4 days . Again after 18 th i went to him because im still feeling weak. He suggested me blood test (cbc, widal, malaria) . After seeing that reports he said all are normal. He gave me tablets for 2 days, i used them from 20 th september i feeling well upto 1 week. Again at 27th i got high fever at night, due to that i had paracetmal tablet after 1 hour i had heavy sweating and later i slept well, i dnt know why sweating happen , next day morning i went to him again. he suggested me to take again cbc test. By that report again he said all are normal, this time he didnot give me any medication (means from 20 th to 27th i did not take any medicine)..but iam feeling low fever and headache ..yestarday again i went to him, he gave me some medication..why this happening, iam really worrying about my health.. sorry for poor english

I have undergone your reports and understand your concern.

Widal test: O and H antigen- 1:160 titre suggests you have typhoid fever.
Sometime typhoid fever is resistant to antibiotic.
Low fever, headache and weakness are common in the typhoid fever.
I would suggest to consult MD physician and undergo
Repeat widal test to show the progress of the typhoid fever and response of the treatment, blood culture, ESR and CRP test.
If typhoid titre will still high then following treatment will helpful:
Tablet Azithromycin 1 g/day orally for 5 days
Tablet acetaminophen,
Tablet multivitamin
Capsule sporolac
Take bed rest and avoid exertion
Drink plenty of lukewarm water and ORS to maintain hydration
Take soft diet like khichdi, boiled rice, curd, banana and homemade fruit juice.
Avoid oily/fatty food &
Avoid outside food and water

As mentioned earlier on 28 september again i take one more cbp test(but not widal test) by seeing that report doctor told nothing to worry all values are ok. Actaully this report is taken after 10 days that of 18th september. I upload both those reports please go through that.
on 1 st oct again i went to him he gave me one injection and these tablets 6 each.
1. Stemetil MD 5mg
2. Azithromycin
3. paracetmal tablets
by using them i feel some what ok.

suggest me am i need to take any medication

It is same treatment as I told you earlier.
Along with it, take following advises:
Tablet multivitamin

Drink plenty of lukewarm water and ORS to maintain hydration
Take soft diet like khichdi, boiled rice, curd, banana and homemade fruit juice.
Avoid oily/fatty food &
Avoid outside food and water.

sir on 3 rd i came to native place
on 4th i suddenly i got fever in evening
i went here one local doctor he told that is viral fever
i cant understand still iam getting fever and urine colour is light yellow
suggest me what to do

Your symptoms could be due to typhoid, jaundice/liver infection.
I would suggests to undergo liver profile, urine test, repeat typhoid test, ESR, CRP, blood culture and chest X-ray (to rule out pulmonary cause).
Meanwhile take following advices:
Continue Stemetil MD, Azithromycin and paracetamol tablets
Multivitamin tablet
Take proper rest and healthy diet
Further treatment will depend on the test result

hello sir
from past two days i felt sweating whole day, and body temperature is raised..if drunk water then all will fine, but weakness remains..

today i went to doctor he checked temperature and told there is no fever and told to do serum bilirubin and urine test
serum bilirubin : 0.8 mgs%
urine :
bile salts : nil
bile pigements : negative(-)ve

he said all is normal and he gave paracetmol 10 tablets and deloday 5 tablets
and zinkovita syrup

i felt like loosing weight and sweating sir...what is problem sir.. i cannot understand what is happening to me..

please tell me any tests required..

Weakness is due to typhoid fever and disappear on next 1-2 week.
I would suggest to undergo blood sugar test, thyroid test, chest x ray, sputum examination and repeat Widal test
Avoid anxiety and do relaxation exercise.
Continue medicine provided by your doctor.

hello sir (from 2 days happening)night while sleeping suddenly my body warm up (due to that i suddenly wake up ) and sweat..then if drink water again i get sleep..like that 3 times happen in night..
during day time also i am sweating.. actually iam having paracetmol tablets morning and in evening.. i did n't get fever, but feeling weak

i read through online sweating is also symptom of hiv or cancer

sir please help me ... iam so scared.. from yestarday iam getting loose motion while going for bathroom ..these are symptoms of paratypoid or something else..
but here the local doctor mention that is not typoid fever, he mentioned as viral fever..by seeing that blood reports which i upload here (18th september report)

sir please suggest me any tests if required(names).. iam so scared

Sweating and loose motion could be due to side effects of paracetamol as you are using from long time.
If you have no fever then no need of paracetamol.
Widal test: O and H antigen- 1:160 titre highly suggests typhoid fever not viral fever.
Most common cause of night sweats are: anxiety/panic attack, high level of thyroid, tuberculosis, hidden infection.
As your CBC report is normal cancer has been ruleout.
I would suggest to undergo following tests: blood sugar, thyroid profile, blood culture, sputum examination.
Avoid stress, and do medication.
Drink plenty of water and ORS solution.

hi sir thanks for your help

actually on 12th i had some family event due to that i had to much work that day.
i did not drink much water, by evening i felt like cold, one of hole in my nose blocked and feeling like lump in throat (thyroid area)no pain while swallowing
by next day morning 13th cold left, but lumpy feeling remains, felt like someone tie my neck...still i feeling like that

there is no fever, and also from 2 days i did not feel sweating..but in the afternoon i suddenly feeling like fever after eating,later if i drink water i feeling fine.

ans also my urine is in yellow color in morning, and later it is white colour during day time.

i stopped medicine from 11th.

sorry sir i did not do that tests, because i do not have that facilities.. i will do in 2 days..

Your symptoms could be due to globus sensation in throat, dehydration, lymph node enlargement, infection in throat, and enlarged thyroid gland.
Throat examination, throat swab test (to rule out infection) and USG scan (to rule out swelling/enlarged thyroid) will help in the diagnosis.

Avoid stress,
Drink plenty of lukewarm water and ORS solution.
Avoid heavy exertion.
Limit intake of coffee and cold carbonated beverages.
Do not eat anything with in 2-3 hour before your bed time.
