Are Loss Of Erection And Libido Suggestive Of Erectile Dysfunction?

default
Posted on Mon, 20 Jul 2015
Question: Hello , would like to know more about ED.
From last one week I am experiencing loss of erection and but not complete loss of libido.
I am able to masturbate but the penis is still placid and not complete hard as before.
Earlier I used to have hardness with feeling of ejaculation when I had sex.Since last month or so I still had the hardness but could not ejaculate when having intercourse and would take lot of time. Now since last week I have started losing erection as soon as I ejaculate and the penis is not hard while doing so.
Please advise.

Presently I am not able to make an erection even after trying to be excited and a partial loss of sensation but not sure what it is.

Brief Answer:
Viagra on a few occasions will solve your problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
At your age, it's often found, some lose erections after a short while. It's a temporary symptom.Don't worry about it.
You can take a Viagra tablet, half hour before you start masturbating. With erotic stimulation, rigidity is well maintained and ejaculation will occur. After a few uses, you should be able to get a normal erection without Viagra.
Feel free to contact me, should the need occur.

Dear Doc,

Thank you for the advice.Presently I am not experiencing any arousal and hence not able to get any erection.I am happily married and inspite of trying to get erection , I cannot. Is this also temporarily.(as if there is loss of sensation)
Till how much time then should I wait to be all normal before taking any action and get it diagnosed.
Also should I really take a viagra at this stage? any recommended doses of viagra? as i have never taken one before so have no idea about it.

Brief Answer:
Viagra is used by millions worldwide.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
There's no cause to worry. Viagra is very safe, unless you're on cardiac treatment.
Arousal will be restored with the foreplay by your spouse, which is essential for the Viagra to act. Taken in doses of 50mg tablets, which your doctor will prescribe,it's very widely used. You need it only for a short period, after which, you'll will be to able to have satisfactory erections and sex.
Feel free to contact me ,should the need arise.
