Brief Answer:
No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

It is very common for the platelet count to fluctuate for 5-7 days in Dengue Infection. There is no need to worry about it as long as platelet count is maintained above 50000. More over don't test in separate labs every time you test for platelet count.

Just keep testing for platelet count daily once for next 3 days and if it shows improvement then nothing needs to be done . But if it continues to drop and goes below 50,000 he needs to get admitted again.

Dengue infection per se doesn't cause any fluctuation in blood sugars but during the illness patient food intake varies day to day and hence the blood sugar is fluctuating.

Kindly let me know what are his blood sugar readings and what medications he is taking for sugar so that I can adjust the dosage.

Regards.
