Are Dizziness, Tiredness And Shortness Of Breath Symptoms Of Anemia?

default
Posted on Tue, 14 Mar 2017
Question: Got up, took my shower, did my hair, had a bowel movement, then started doing the things I needed to do for my husband....I am his full time caretaker....started feeling strange.....weak, tingley....and kind of short of breath. Due to our bad weat her, I haven't been able to get outside to walk. That's what I do for exercise. I sat down and still feel a bit weak. I have had anemia before.....maybe that's it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
While anemia is a cause for dizziness, tiredness and shortness of breath, there are other causes. If you are not getting better or if you have recurrent episodes, it is best to see a doctor, have yourself examined and investigated. Once the cause is known, you can be treated appropriately so that you would remain healthy to look after your husband and yourself.

Do get back to me if you have further queries.
